Plot: An attorney known as the "fixer" in his law firm, comes across the biggest case of his career that could produce disastrous results for those involved.
Gilroy also wrote the movie. The writing is pretty good but the whole affair is just not that exciting. It's a cross between The Insider and Erin Brokovich. I think Clooney is great, so is the rest of the cast James and Bao both owe me money for sending me to see this, dvd for surey. I have to learn to trust my gut feeling more, I could tell it was way too serious to be that good And yet for all its faults which may just fall short of spectacular expectations, the movie was quite engrossing and I really wanted to find out how everything would end. For one I was pretty taken by the resolution. I guess my initial reaction was a bit harsh, a barely above average. Further reflection reveals this is a brainy movie that deserves to be watched, a clear 3.5 / 5 The original one-sheet though they've got a slick dvd cover treatment
