This is one of the best movies of the 2007
Plot: A young rat living within the walls of a famous Paris bistro wishes to become a chef, but is hindered by his family's skepticism and the rat-despising staff and patrons.
For some reason I didn't love this movie right away, and Pixar flicks really do it for me usually but come on, it's about food and Paris! Repeat viewings have totally endeared me to it. My first reaction to all the rats cooking at the end was a little repulso though haha - The animation short of an alien in a spaceship passing his DMV style abduction test was not bad (btw the abductee is Linguini!) There's a lot to love in the movie, for some reason I love how Linguini calls Remy "little chef". Of course the movie had very high expectations with Brad "Incredibles/Iron Giant" Bird as director(/co-writer). To note, this was from an original concept by Jan Pinkava, Brad Bird only came on board to "fix" the story. That bothered me the whole movie and something slightly was off Very solid Favorite scenes - Remy learns to puppet Linguini - Linguini is faded (leading to that kissing scene) Easter eggs from ComingSoon Links - http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=21776 - http://twitter.com/kewlio/statuses/146012412 Last Updated 1/19/2008 6:44:15 AM 1hr 50min / Directed by Brad Bird / Starring Patton Oswalt, Ian Holm, Lou Romano, Brian Dennehy, Peter Sohn / Language: English / Watched: DVD | ||||
