I saw writer/director Bart Freundlich on Charlie Rose talk about this movie and working with his wife (Moore), that was basically the best thing about the flick. It's a self-serving despicable piece of film, a lot like (but not as bad as) Rocky Balboa

I really cannot say it had much in the way of interest. Mid life crisis for New Yorkers, yawn, the final scene with the hyperbole declaration in the middle of a packed theater audience.. oh yeah, so believable

Duchovny never recovered (found something better) from the X-Files
