The gist is a new penguin is bored with a "disability" in that he keeps shuffling his feet and cannot sing which turns out to be super important in penguin world.. he eventually finds his way and also saves his colony when human fishing threatens their habitat

The mix of human and animation is kinda whacko, the whole religious aspect of the "great penguin" was freaky.. Mumble (title character) ceases to be cute 20 minutes into the movie, after he's all grown

Stop fidgeting! Wait for the dvd, to watch with your newborn
