Plot: A lonely doctor (Bullock) who once occupied an unusual lakeside home begins exchanging love letters with its newest resident, a frustrated architect (Reeves). They must try to unravel the mystery behind their extraordinary romance before it's too late.
The one sheet was so much better, the Lake House is of course a remake of Il Mare, a movie I quite adored They moved things to Chicago, the girl is now a doctor, the guy is still a budding architect.. things have lost a bit of their magic though, it was more subtle in the Korean version, everything has to be spelled out so much for Americans.. something was lost in translation cuz the movie became real cheesy (or just way cheesier).. ah what a ruin of a Hollywood ending Bullock looks 10x better with long hair The opening track of the movie is so indie, "(I Can’t Seem To) Make You Mine" by the Clientele, it's on the soundtrack.
