Plot: Harry finds himself selected as an underaged competitor in a dangerous multi-wizardary school competition.

This is not my favorite Potter story and I think on the whole it's a harder story to adapt on screen because the plot with the Triwizard tournament is a little too intricate, it felt like Newell had to go through so many scenes to keep up with the novel (over 700 pages long, on paperback). He did okay, it's a bit weird how there was not much publicity around him taking over direction from Cuaron (who took over from Columbus before)

Best moments: tiny bit of classroom lesson with Moody, Ron and Harry agonizing about finding a date for the Yule Ball, final exposition bit. This movie was kinda confusing I guess

Most exciting: King Kong trailer

Not sure it was worth my $8, I guess not much is. Still proved to be solid even with a bit of disappointment, the kids are growing up fast. So British

From Overheard..
Little boy: Why didn't Harry Potter just take a shotgun and blow that guy's head off?
--Loews Kips Bay Theatre, 2nd Avenue

Girl: I am dating two different guys with kids and no one will take me to see Harry Potter. Now that's fucked up.
--Eatery, 9th Avenue
ToGawp, always on point
I didn't read the book so I don't care what was left out of the movie but to all y'all who complain about that sorta thing, why don't you try turning 734 pages into 154 minutes and we'll see who's version is better.
