This is one of the best movies of the 2004

"Forgiving… is giving your hate just a little room in your heart’"

The story opens on Su-jin (Ye-jin Son) being stood up at a train station, we find out later that she tried to run away from a married man through gossipmongers when she resumes work (does something with fashion).. her dad was supposed to be really mad at her but he has forgiven her to her surprise.. Su-jin then falls for a construction worker Cheol-su (Woo-sung Jung) who works on his dad's site, but they actually met at a convenience store, a very important scene as it turns out.. they eventually get consent to get married, and everything should be perfect. Sprinkled throughout the story are tidbits about how Su-jin is forgetful and this gets blown to its worse possible stretch when she is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, nevermind her young age (27-28)

I love Korean romance movies, big drama, this was cute and sweet, and of course sad. I'll concede that there are a lot of plot holes but they only moderatly cripple the movie (though I've read a big complaint about how it was a major product placement play - can of soda), it's about love

There's a really funny scene where the budding couple ride in Cheol-su windshield-less jeep, Ye-jin wears some kind of steel worker headgear, so cute. I also liked when they were eating at a food stand, it was sundubu (Korean tofu soup) baby

I discovered Ye-jin Son in Classic and she's got this understated beauty, I love that. Some of the clothes she wear accentuates her figure here hehe. I didn't recognize her right away actually because in the first scenes, her hair is very curly and made up

There's this really scary lady from Su-jin's office who's the embodiement of the Asian lady with too much makeup, like old and skinny and with so much paint on her face

Had really good Spanish music playing throughout

There's a lot of melodrama and crying but I'll let it slide, these movies really get to me
