Yup, I'm so late in the game.. Celeste is the one who told me about this novel, about a Harvard professor (neerrrd) who's after a secret encrypted in art works of Leonardo Da Vinci.
I remember reading the prologue at B&N. It's good. The novel has been topping the best seller list for a while, you can imagine it being pretty safe The story opens on the murder of the Louvre museum curator, perpetrated by a sinister group after a secret that's been kept for ages. Langdon (the professor) is visiting Paris and brought in to help on the case, you can imagine a lot of French things, starting with language.
