EDITORS     - discography

This is one of the best albums of the 2005

This is an album I liked instantly, I discovered Editors through a live recording where they were billed with VHS Or Beta. It is one of those albums where I liked almost every songs, I overdid it a bit (too much too fast) but the album is really solid months later

The singer Thomas Smith channels Paul Banks (Interpol) at times, though he is a lot more expressive (Editors music can be said to be more complex.. I guess). I find the animosity between Interpol and Editors fan a bit unecessary, both bands are good, they're similar, whatever

It was actually one of the bands I picked in a roundup of new music, cool

So UK, cool bass, fresh guitars. I about like every single song, word

1. Lights

2.
Munich
"people are fragile things, you should know by now", quite groovy

3.
Blood
these first 3 tracks are very uptempo, some of the guitars do remind me of VHS Or Beta. It's weird how songs start right away, very little intro or build up; they all clock under 4min

4.
Fall
this track marks a departure of sort, slowed down with a nice bass intro, I like what they do with the gutiars, Interpol-ish, a really good track

5.
All Sparks

6.
Camera
not my favorite, the album is named after a line from this slower song

7.
Fingers in the Factories
got hip to this sometime in January 2006

8.
Bullets
"you don't need this disease" sounds like "you don't need this sissy" hehe, I'm lame.. this is the closest Editors come to Interpol, jus check out that bridge a min before the end

9.
Someone Says

10.
Open Your Arms
a slower song that doesn't work out mosly but the end of the song is kinda great

11.
Distance
dreamy
