Trip Report 2/15/02 - 2/18/02 (3 nights, 4 days) Stayed at the Paris Hotel.. was okay.. the lighting (lack of) really bothered me, but not as much as the "Bonjour", "Monsieur" and other "Merci"... made like $20 total, a little bummed cuz I was way up the day before I left ($375 at one point) It was Chinese New Year so there were a LOT of Asian folks.. several hotels had Chinese decorations up.. my friend and his family spent the week-end there too so we partied and met up, it was nice Did some shopping at the Forum shops (Caesar's) and at the Venetian shops.. got some spankin shoes for my girlfriend Tran and I got some nice things at Hugo Boss Saw a few celebrities: Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy!! no kidding) + her beau Freddie Prinze Jr. <- they were kinda short, they had bodyguards tho so no pictures. Also saw Alain Chabat (Inconnus), French comedian.. he had a ton of gray hair. Finally Big Boi, half of the rap duo Outkast.. I was really impressed with the Bellagio.. I wanna stay there next time. We saw the show O from Cirque du Soleil and it was alright.. it was my 3rd show from the canadian troop: the sets were amazing, but the show was only okay Dining: had one pimp meal at Le Cirque, the famed NYC restaurant.. service was perfect, food was a little bit disappointing but great nonetheless.
