After a lot of soul searching (reading a million posts on dpreview forum) on the Canon SD630 vs SD700IS, I placed my order today. It was a lining up of the planets type thing: - playing with John's camera - reading up on SD700IS (floris, poty): my crack smoking hands (the shakes) coulda used IS but they really messed up the controls, 700IS is also thickness - nice deal on techbargains - oh yeah, one word: 3inchlcdelicious!!!!! - disclaimer: I have no use for a viewfinder  $335 ($25 is tax).
