 The Sentinel is your run of the mill White House security thriller, "ooh someone in the US Secret Service plans to assassinate the president"It does mark the return of Michael Douglas, last seen in a real whack comedy The In-Laws (2003). He's a stretch as a secret service agent (age), and so is Eva Longoria (she's cute but so tiny), this is her first major movie credit since Desperate Housewives exploded on the tv scene. Kiefer Sutherland on the other hand is mister law enforcement with now 5 seasons of 24 under his belt (the Jack Bauer Kill Count is excellent). Kim Basinger rounds out the cast Director Clark Johnson has extensive experience with cop thrillers (S.W.A.T., The Shield, The Wire, Law & Order) The Sentinel (Fox) opens April 21 and could use a one-sheet Trailer Yahoo!
