Not a great issue, at all. The cover has this slightly effeminate dude on it, and he's supposed to motivate us to get abs.. uh then call up your boyfriend? That's the preppiest guy ever

As soon as I big upped the Brooks ads (last issue), they're no longer running

The rave run does sport a nice picture of Central Park winter running with The Gates, that was a year ago (Flickr pics). I thought it was a cool project, for a lotta people it was more a good laugh

This month's "On The Road" map features the increasingly popular Austin, TX thanks to season 16 of Real World and uber geekness SXSW

I tried to pay attention to the abs features, there's a nice set of exercises but I'm not expecting anything (still chasing the elusive six pack, it's sad)

The "New York Stories" left me indifferent, the pictures did remind me of the post 9/11 b&w full size pictures of the firefighters (cool) and police officers (suck) I saw around Rockefeller Center, that was in the Fall of 2002

The gear guide features treadmills, they have the distinction of having cut out pictures of the dashboards (none of em look close to the ones I've used), price range $2000 - $4700
