I found myself gravitating towards the indie rock scene in 2005, listening to (or enjoying) far less hip-hop and basically no r&b Best albums ![]() Silent Alarm by Bloc Party instantly liked this album, still holds up as one of the year's best ![]() The Bravery by The Bravery infectious stuff Other favorites ![]() The Massacre by 50 Cent people were trying to hate on 50 and the ever expanding g-unit empire, he got a great sophomore album on his hands despite the swollen ego ![]() Never Scared by Chris Rock you might have to like stand up (or Chris Rock) ![]() X&Y by Coldplay solid though weaker than last album ![]() The Documentary by Game 1st good album of the year, all the beef gossip aside, this is a tight album with some of the best rap songs put out this year ![]() Hot Fuss (Limited Edition) by Killers re-issues are lame but the Killers had that good a year (the original Hot Fuss came out in 2004) Very good ![]() Awesome concert albums (more here) ![]() Older stuff ![]() Update Jan 2006, I upgraded the Editors album from 3 to 4/5 Feb, got to add Walk The Line OST (great movie help) March, nice find with Mest and Tom Vek, upgraded Rogue Wave May, added The Fray, upgraded Editors to full 5/5 werd!
