 I forget where I got this list, it's for serious runners or corporate snobs (you can always go to Finish Line, I dunno)I can only speak on my experience at Ryan's Sport Shop though I'm sure you'd get similar service at the other stores. They had a nice return policy (ok maybe a standard one) and they let me try different types of shoe (stability, trail, cushion). I got to run up and down the parking lot behind the store. It was nice, in a "mom and pop store" personal way which you pay more for.
