 The Weinstein Co of Miramax fame have their own animated (read cgi) movie just in time for Christmas. While the medium is becoming a bit saturated and in need of originality (this movie is based on Little Red Riding Hood, a fairy tale really), Hoodwinked seems to have some great writing. It takes a Rashomon-like approach which is interesting if nothing less. The team of Cory Edwards and Todd Edwards behind this movie seem to be relatively unknown so it should get points for freshnessI thoroughly enjoyed the trailer despite a rather weak character design (very simple). I suppose it's bearable. It could be a good movie, or just a great trailer. Get hooked Voice talents include Glenn Close, Anne Hathaway, James Belushi, Patrick Warburton and Anthony Anderson.
