The idea behind the MX100 mouse by Logitech is good, it's cordless and optical. I think some argue that optical mice don't refresh fast enough to play games but playing games is so 1995. Anyway, Logitech puts a twist here with a cradle that recharges the mouse and there's a nifty led to tell you when you're running low. It blinks red, time to charge. When the mouse is recharging, it blinks green After a couple years of use, something has happened to the metal contacts between the mouse and the cradle. I have to fidget the thing on its cradle like an idiot for I don't know how long to get it to work     This took 10min, bleh. An improved version the MX1000 came out last year, cool model name, now I dunno if it's 10x better but they better have fixed issues with this cradle Links - blog post 9/8/2004 - gadget of the week
