You can use paper scraps, post-its, write on your palm, leave yourself a voicemail or send yourself an email, the secret to to-do lists is really "stickiness": whatever you are doing must be good that you keep using it and remember to refer to it There are dozens of online tools that let you manage your tasks but Remember the Milk (beta) is one that embodies stickiness with its nice ajax interface. It does away with the old paradigm of loading form, editing and refreshing the page so everything is much more user-friendly Key features - create multiple categories, currently I have bills, buy, owe, personal and work - assign due date/recurrence and corresponding alerts (email, sms, im) - prioritize tasks and color code - keyboard shortcuts - undo (kinda neat) More - share with others - email in tasks - publish lists - compatible with iCal format - cool nerdy "rtm" pages hah Buggy - having the list online enables constant access but if the service is down, you are out of luck - atom feed is not supported by Bloglines, I think the format is not compliant - having too many categories (tabs) thros off the whole design pushing tabs on a separate line (ugly) Wishlist - they should have one a tab with the option to view all tasks Links - http://www.rememberthemilk.com
