stylus' best movies of the millenium, part 1

Largehearted Boy has the heads up on Stylus Magazine's top 50 movies of the new millenium.. what a pompous title. If the list is a reflection of our era, the millenium is quite bleak (save the few action flicks ranked far too low) Quickie Breakdown - Pretty even distribution if you discount the anemic 2001 and the non-existant 2005: 2000 (6), 2001 (2), 2002 (4), 2003 (4), 2004 (4) - International friendly with 6 out of 20 (30%) non-English flicks (Chinese (3), French, Spanish (Mexico), Italian) I loved these flicks, they're quite action-packed, shoulda ranked higher  47. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon 41. Kill Bill 39. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 35. Spiderman 2 These were ok, pretty sentimental 46. Million Dollar Baby 42. The Station Agent 33. Almost Famous Dunno 44. Best In Show - IMDB 38. Fat Girl - IMDB To check out 50. George Washington 40. I Heart Huckabees 37. The Triplets of Belleville 36. Far From Heaven 34. Spider 31. 24 Hour Party People Maybe 48. Dancer in the Dark - IMDB 45. Amores Perros - IMDB Never heard 49. Unknown Pleasures - IMDB 43. The Best of Youth - IMDB No way 32.
