Featured on Lifehacker, they say The latest version of Google Desktop offers significant improvements to desktop search, notably Outlook search, higher security and Quick Find document search and application launcher.So basically, there's nothing new, I shoulda known Install is still crappy (closes AIM, Firefox, MSN Messenger), I may have messed it up by uninstalling it before, had to redo the plugins (gdTunes and Todo) Verdict If you already got a version with Sidebar, don't bother Download Google Desktop - 1.32 MB Links - http://desktop.google.com/ - blog post 8/26/2005 - Google Desktop Sidebar is nicer
