I stepped on some glass on the flat part of the foot (closer to the toes) half drunk off the 6 mile run and 6 mile bike ride over the week-end. It was super painful and actually bled a lot (you'll notice a good few hours exercising will show with a lot of blood rushing through your foot, it gets all pinkish red).
Anyway, so today a good three days later, I change the bandage I had on and think of looking through the small cut and what do I find? A tiny piece of glass that's been bothering me to no end. I played volleyball with this ish in my foot, no wonder it stung so much..
So in the spirit of Sean's post, here's for reference next time I get a cut
clean the area and make sure there's no foreign object in there before applying bandage
