After spending a hefty $11 on a hair cut, I went down to Hollywood Video where they actually still have the free birthday rental (go HV), picked up Jay-Z - Fade to Black dvd which I'm not even sure is any good. It was a toss up between that, Mala Educación and Before Sunset. Pretty much all lame.

Proceeded to Jamba Juice where I tried the Matcha Green Tea Blast smoothie for free thanks to an offer in the mail. The ingredient list reads soymilk, sorbet, nonfat frozen yogurt, ice, matcha green tea. Verdict: okay for the first 3 sips. By the by, some old school Jamba fans I know tipped me on the flavor Orchard Oasis (mixed of all the 'berries) which was quite good if blueberry seeds stuck in your teeth does not affect your game. It's no no longer on the menu but apparently you can still order it

Ate at A&J with JBC, kinda livin the high life

Okay I did stop by Valley Fair's Print Plus to frame this $40 print I got from Japan: "Mr. Fuji Scene Off Kanagawa" by Hokusai Katsuhika (1760-1849). It's this neo classic piece depicting waves and Mt. Fuji, probably not all that original but it looks cool. The frame actually cost more than the picture, kinda expensive (framed sizes runs about 19.5in x 15in) Cary actually brought some Veuve Clicquot champagne and tried making some mimosas to celebrate (thx) but it was kinda weak to drink that by ourselves.. ah Sunday birthdays

Don't cry for me, I had the swankiest birthday dinner ever and I had like 28 of them already :-/ It was a day ago, at the New York Grill, the restaurant on the 52nd floor of the Park Hyatt in Tokyo (time travelling is kinda cool)

Oh yeah nice going John, my secret birthday present looked cool on your desk, hey "how come you keep your iPod Shuffle in the box?". It's all good, Fox gave me a cool present with the return of Family Guy, the inappropriate cartoon was cancelled 3 years ago
