France was great, Paris to be exact. Did some sights and stuff but the whole trip was planned around meals (among other things), visiting family and friends. I never really recovered from my jetlag which was kinda lame. Driving in France wasn't too hot, the streets are so narrow and my dad's BMW 7 is kinda wide. Still I drove my mom around for grocery shopping or dropped my brother Denis at school and at his basketball games.. you won't see me driving in Paris for sure though! I also finish (almost) a couple of books Thx Gee and John for the airport rides Here are some quick travellin thoughts: pack for success, need quarters and cellphone charger (damn!), no free wi-fi at sfo is gay (should bring emergency phone cord for dialup if carryin laptop), my wrist watch was pretty useless, need gsm for europe (and the rest of the world really), paper pda (jus jottin down some notes on piece of paper) is gangsta!! Oh yeah forgetting to bring a credit card (I only have like four of them) was way bonehead I took over 600 pics in 10 days, fun fun Links - pictures - /2005/02 feb 04-14 paris trip - book review - Robert Des Noms Propres by Amélie Nothomb - book review - No Excuse Leadership by Brace E.
