Purchases
Best thing I bought all year was my Canon SD10 digital camera, it's a shame I lost it. Next is probably my Tivo though it took me a while to adjust to it, live tv is for sissies


Travelling
I had a lot of fun travelling this year, it's something I am enjoying more now than when I was a kid. I still hate flying though. Locally LA and Yosemite were cool over the summer, Hawaii and east coast trip with my boys were the bomb, and finally going back to Asia and France was good


Sports
A sad year for me though I really don't follow sports that much but the Lakers got reamed, the Yanks lost to a cursed Red Sox team in the World Series. Patriots rocked Super Bowl XXXVII pretty good


Web
Pretty big year for blogs in general, both RSS and blogs changed how I surf the web, Bloglines is a gem for me, I had a renewed interest for CSS though it gets pretty complicated at times. Photoblogs were also pretty cool, nice pictures. I have read some criticism about how they lack direction. I've also used Craigslist a lot this year, I sold some stuff but more so maybe because I'm shopping for a piano and some free weights. Oh yeah my latest addiction is checking Chowhounds like every half hour haha


Misc.
- Lacoste really blew up this year in the US market, stores, ads, all this recognition, the alligator is so baller
- John made me use RemotelyAnywhere for a min. but that java shit is really slow, I'm back on RAdmin, but you should really use Remote Desktop when possible
- I thought Georgia as a font was really cool, yeah that lasted a minute too
- Really cooled off a bit on magazine reading, my Men's Health subscription ran out, Esquire has been ok. I've enjoyed reading Forbes and Money though I find it hard to keep up with it. I think I got a free 3-month sub to Playboy but it ain't really all that
- Workin out has been good this year, I've been pretty committed, did a lot of elliptical in the beginning of the year after James told be it wasn't fag, and a lot of outdoor running in the summer till I really hurt my knee. It's cool though because it basically healed up after I layed off it. I found the stationary bike quite cool as of late, I get to do a bunch of reading and sweat a lot more than I thought possible. My goal for 05 is to get stronger hehe, beat some kids up
- I made about 10% in stocks day-trading a bit, granted some holdings dated from 2002 but it was still cool, that shit is no exact science though, or maybe I have to put more diligence into it
