There are more and more tools on the web to express ourselves. We've graduated from the geocities free personal homepage to blogs which have taken over this year, so have those pesky xanga journals haha. You hear about photoblogs, moblogging, etc.. One cool site featured by Kottke is Flickr, a very nice web tool (also free) to upload pictures, edit description, add notes inside images and let people leave comments. It can be tied to blogger or typepad and other popular blog hosts. I created an account to check it out and though I probably will not use it, I still find it super nifty There's some quota of some sort but the casual user will find this tool quite adequate Update After a steady stream of self promotion on boingboing, I came to realize the Flickr tag (ability to associate keywords to pictures) is a great way to make the photos more searchable, hop on there and check out the tags section (I really like "clouds") but you can type in your own search.
