never install that shit, ya herrrd! stick to ephpod (windows) it's pretty sad but this was really my 3rd go at itunes. let's see, the first time around, i was already using ephpod instead of the musicmatch bs they gave us (itunes wasnt available yet). when it came out, i installed it and found it was mad bloated (slow the f outta my computer) so just gave it a pass. 2nd time around ive been extolled the virtues of the smart playlists (playlists that can be generated based on parameters such as rating, genre, play counts, etc..) so i installed the newer version, copied all my music to computer and proceeded to readd all of that ish to the itunes library (took a while, what a bitch). i think a failed partition let me enjoy the smart playlists for like a week. i was back on ephpod. underterred, when the latest version came out, i installed again, after reformatting the faulty partition. upon firing the pos software, major mistake. it had saved the settings from the previous install (though it had been uninstalled, ugh) and the sync basically wiped most of my ipod collection (sync baby, making ur life easier or somethin)... anyways, back on ephpod with a newly dedicated ipod folder for syncing (which is slow and gay too but it works) /rants off Links - http://www.ephpod.com/
