Sunday afternoon, John, Cary, Larry and I went up to Rancho San Antonio (Cupertino/Los Altos Hills). We had planned to do an 8 mile trail with a cool vista point up top. It was kinda crazy, uphill stuff, damn steep. Even at 5ish it was real hot, but I guess that's better than goin at 2 or 3. There's a lot stretches where we get some shade so that was okay. We did the PGE trail good and part of another one goin up but we decided to turn back cuz we didn't have enough water. Next week, we go all the way up top, prepared good! :-) We had a regular backpack but that really didn't work out to run, I want one of those camelbak bags that has a water reservoir. I'm all over it If you look at Cary, he about to die (and that's on the way up), we walked a lot of it, but ran a bunch on the way down. Good fun I think going there will prepare us good when we go to Yosemite later this month, we'll do some hardcore hiking there hahha Links - pictures - /2004/05 may 02 rancho san antonio - http://www.parkhere.org/
