First of many I am sure, this one not bad: Google to offer Gmail, free 1GB email... 1GB baby! Hahha that'd be hot. And if Google did email, it would be hot for sure. My co-worker claims the 1GB might be a hoax but Google really wants to do email and eventually portal type stuff, which I disagree mostly over some articles I have read about what direction Google wants to go. Basically the gist is Yahoo! losts its edge when it tried to be everything to everyone with their portal expansion.. how much can they focus on search? We'll see. Update The story continues to pick up steam (financial times story), I eventually cracked and signed up for trial, hey you never know.
