Saw the new trailer for the next big comic book based movie. This one is not Marvel or DC but a comic from Dark Horse, which is considered a smaller publisher. I've been a fan of Hellboy for the longest time, creator Mike Mignola crafted quite a good horror comic, and his art kicks ass. The trailer was posted last week, lookin promisin although Abe (the amphibian) looks really alienish, Hellboy looks a bit bulky.. Selma Blair who plays a pyrotechnic agent looks pretty nice, though most of the flame effect is blue.. these three characters are part of the BPRD, a secret federal agency that deals with paranormal problems (basically witchcraft, vampires, monsters, u name it).. Hellboy (2004) - 3/5 With creator Mike Mignola on board, we have here a faithful adaptation of the Dark Horse fantasy comic book.. however the story ain't the best, though I appreciate the humor and banter from the original comic, this movie could have used better action Links - reviews - Hellboy - http://movies.yahoo.com/movies/feature/hellboy.html
