Always feel compelled to write at night for no reason. Watched a buncha lame flicks lately, from Shanghai Knights to Cradle 2 the Grave to A Guy Thing. Blah, people in Hollywood just make safe movies, it's sad. Course, there's always good flicks but they're so few and far between (Finding Nemo rocked me, found Identity quite interesting). This is even more relevant since we're basking in a summer of (blockbuster) sequels, how safe is that, same crew/actors(/directors sometimes) and blam. I am lookin forward to a few flicks tho, The Hulk (only cuz I'm seriously comics geeked out) and Charlie's Angels, cuz that movie gon be mad booty shots and fun. Back on the lame movie topics, you can probably count the # of movies you want to own on the fingers of both ya hands.. sad sad sad Next movie up is probably gonna be Alex & Emma (very inventive), cuz I copped some nice free screening tickets (Monday at the Pruneyard). The movie boasts directing from Rob Reiner though so might be decent, you never know (Reiner directed similarily titled When Harry Met Sally) Really diggin the 'Crows lately (whole album Hard Candy is nice), I am seeing them at Shoreline in July (real seats this time).
