My spring seminar on Cluster and Grid Computing ended yesterday, no finals (nice). The class work load in general was lighter than others (4 units though) but it had a lot of reading and weekly papers. I did an okay presentation on grid security and it was a good opportunity to practice my weak public speaking skills. Overall a good class, the teacher Pr. Figueira was pretty enthusiastic about the material (her thesis was on the grid, she still actively does reasearch on the subject) but sometimes the class lacked a bit of direction and discipline.

I'm about a third of the way done with the SCU MS program. Kinda split between doin Computer or Software Engr. The latter is newer and probably less recognized. I would do Master in CS but that's some brainiac type shit hahah. We'll see, I am trying to enjoy a study-free summer.

In general, I'd love to do a liberal arts degree, either in hsitory or art history, something that is less technical and more of interest to me these days. Even economics sounds so loaded with possibilities. I just want to have the opportunity to use another part of my brain (left side, right side?)
