The "Locals Only" opening last night was pretty rad, much more fun than whatever they had goin on at Koralie's show (big up France though)   For blind people (like me), Kira pointed out that "Locals Only" is designed around the shape of San Francisco Lot of people, free Coors beer, music dj and some girl performed. Oh and the art of course. I ended up really liking Jay Howell's 3 pieces which I didn't flick. I should go back there (meanwhile, some art here and here though stuff he showed looked better) Bestest: Sad Jose / King ORFN   This one looked like a lot of work (Matt Furie)  Scary stuff though The elusive Mark Cross  "Rocks Collected From SF Bay" 2008 (not for sale) DFW, still cool  Note to self: go back to take closeup of that cool pic above (of JG, maybe) The most expensive piece was this big one by Clare Rojas  Agreed Kira isn't too into these shows, mainly cuz our jeans aren't skinny enough  Maybe we should drink up next time :-) "Locals Only" Opening October 2, 2008 Runs through January 1, 2009 RVCA 1485 Haight St San Francisco, CA 94117 (415) 701-7822 rvca.com
