Not a super exciting show, to say the least ($14 though our tix courtesy of Trist', thx!) The first band had some whack antics and a whackier name (Holiday and the Adventure Pop Collective) but at least some of it was entertaining.. especially when the two dudes came down on the floor at the end (hmm you came all the way down but didn't make it to the aisles? boo) The 2nd act, a Sarah Lov was trying her hardest to get the audience into collective mass suicide, it was the very extreme opposite of uplifting. Still her voice was very nice, strong and clear Here's a random video I shot during her set I think I was about done with this show around the time Sea Wolf took the stage, I left a few songs in, I wish I heard You're A Wolf.. maybe another time Some pics, entire set ![]() ![]() ![]() The Independent is actually a cool venue, seats on the side and a vip section upstairs (not open for Sea Wolf). I saw Band Of Horses there (when they were still cool) and a crushing set by Sound Team (rip) Here are some cool upcoming shows - Shout Out Louds on Oct 9 - Q-Tip on Oct 10 - Mono on Oct 28 and 29 The Independent 628 Divisadero St San Francisco, CA 94117 theindependentsf.com Google Maps (Divisadero at Hayes)
