Open for just about a year by the Town Hall folks, Salt House is still the busy. Sometimes I'm just not down with the communal thing so stick to the bar if you can't get your own table Fantastic sexy space that is ironically inviting and glacial (so crowded), it is housed in an old printing warehouse from the 30's. That amazing painting inside is by "local" artist Freya Prowe, who is also the wife of co-owner Doug Washington They do new American with lots of seafood. Looove the appetizers, the entrees are (and look) great also ![]() ![]() One love to Carmen, professional eater ![]() Salt House 545 Mission St San Francisco, CA 94105 (415) 543-8900 salthousesf.com Google Maps (Mission bet. 1st and 2nd) Hours Weekdays 11:30a - 1a Sat 5p - 1a Sun 5p - 12a More pics on Flickr
