Wows, September already. August just flew The weather continues to be amazing out here in the bay so that was nice for Labor Day weekend. Checked out J's and Rodney Strong up Healdsburg on the wham's recommendation. I never heard of either, they were good. Won't lie, wine is just whatever whatever unless it is spectacular. Points to J's for having champagne, paired snacks (amuse bouche) and the beautiful facility. $25 tasting a bit wtf though ($5 at Rodney Strong) We planned to visit Hanna but after ~12 tastings = the drunken. The kids ended up getting some bubbly from J's and wine from Rodney Strong Healdsburg is often talked about for the restaurant Cyrus.. ah someday. Located about 70 miles north, it includes $5 for the Golden Gate Bridge toll (on the way back).
