I mustave gone when everyone else did (around 1pm) cuz the line was so ridiculous, I think it took an hour and a half to get in, it started around Pier 36 all along Embarcadero

That's about half a mile. So instead of catching Pharoahe Monch, I listened to EPMD waiting in line. I heard Reggie Noble join the old timers for "Headbanger" (one love to K-Solo)

Talib was rappin as I got in but I got drawn to the Paid Dues Stage (local acts) where Murs did it good. After seeing cool Rage Against the Machine tshirts, I decided to get one. That was another 45min of stupid lines (I may exaggerate but not by more than 15min). $25, I've seen worse. The tee is dope

Mos Def did his thing. I wasn't really feelin the Roots at all. PE was even worse (save for "Can't Truss It") and I was beginning to wonder if this was goin to be the worst concert of the year. Cypress Hill made everything good, thankfully. They is fly. Wu-Tang was aight, I saw them last year at Rock The Bells in freaksin Concord and I dunno, they'd be much better in a club. Also Method Man steals the show (exhibit a). I kinda liked Rae and Ghost this year, RZA's mic sucked (or maybe he did). All 7 wu-bangers were there + Cappadonna, Street Life and Killah Priest. They previewed some 8 Diagrams ish, at least one song sounded awesome (live). The album is a go for the fall. Redman joined Meth for "Da Rockwilder", hyphy. I got out the pit after that, ish was a mad fest. Took forever for Rage' to go on stage, worth the wait though, they rulez (first 3 songs were diamond: "Testify", "People Of The Sun" and "Bomb Track")

The lineup, with approx. set times
Jedi Mind Tricks 1110-1140a
Immortal Technique 1150-1220p
Pharoahe Monch 1240-110p
EPMD 120-150p
Talib Kweli 2-220p
Mos Def 235-320p
Public Enemy 340-425p
The Roots 445-530p
Cypress Hill 545-630p
Wu-Tang Clan 650-750p
Rage Against The Machine 820-940p

I ain't a fan of festivals, there's just way too many peoples (this was 50 thou) and it's like allll day. I was freaking tired so I mos definitely did not go to the Exchange Tour optin to join the crew for James' bday at Suede
