The last show of the Fillmore "residency" was actually quite different from the one I attended a week prior on July 22, 2007

First I showed up at a cool 10pm, go me. Second they were filming the show, something that's been goin the last few days I think. So there was a mixing station upstairs plus giant cameras at the back of the floor

Billy (basically) started the show with an acoustic set, an entire f-ing acoustic set that I didn't really enjoy all that much. He did throw in "1979" which didn't make that first show I attended (same for "God and Country") so that half made up for it. The 2nd set after a 30min interlude was a more straightforward thing, sticking to something close to that first show I saw. Lots of stuff from "Zeitgeist" and some good old favorites. "Hummer" was the highlight for me, intro is like beauty

The encore was short and sweet. In general I think that first show was better than this one, the filming + this being the last show kinda set things up to be less fun and organic. It still ended at an obscene ~1:20am

I was anxious to leave and get ready for Hawaii. Muni sucky notey: a big f you to the driver of the 6 on Haight who just drove by after sorta waiving me in a block away, wtf is that about? Can you stop at the designated area (aka the motherfuxin bus stop?). SF Muni
