I bought tix ($17.50) for this show back in Mid February and the whole media barrage on Winehouse has been kinda taxing. Ya yea you're an alky, I love you (wasn't super excited for the show, just one of those days). Amy Winehouse blew the house down though, what a voice (her band was good too). And she be a skinny chick (nice teeth, vive l'Angleterre). She drank her way to a pretty hot 40min set (Jack and Coke, she traded kisses for drinks ha)

See she ended up opening for Klaxons cuz this show was setup way before all the sweltering popularity (and her BRIT award) so we were kinda lucky? Well I just don't think she'll be opening for anyone else soon. I wish she sang "Love is a losing game"

I was actually freaking tired after, dunno why. I did stick around for Klaxons who almost played their entire album. Basically on of some weird ish, them boys like to harmonize. I ended up really enjoying them a lot and Winehouse is a hard act to follow. So, great sound, maybe not so much vocals. I appreciate when a band tries to connect with the audience between songs but I had no idea what they were sayin, the accent be thick. They also played 40min starting around midnight

Cool ish, maybe skip the wine next time (District is sexy)
