Finally a reason to be alive, eating is like awesome

Shortest fad (I'm fickle): macaron, American breakfast
Best food: Mom's, Japanese (runner up: Thai)
Most fun meals: Koo, Dinner In The Kitchen (Two)
Best drink: Sugar cane juice, Cambodia (runner ups: Strawberry coconut juice, Taipei; White mocha, USA)
Best dessert: Tarte au poires, Paris
Best service: Grand Véfour, Paris
Best food city: Paris
Favorite San Francisco restaurants: Limon, Koo
Favorite South bay restaurant: Gochi
Best new dish by mom: Pork belly and cabbage (variation on this)

Super tender lamb comes off the ribs easy like what

Right size maki deep fried perfectly


小籠包 @ Din Tai Fung, Arcadia/Taipei
Say what you will, I've yet to find something that beats Din Tai Fung xlb's (soup dumplings); runner up: Crystal Jade, Yè Shanghai


Chicken curry vermicelli @ Yuan Xin, Paris
Best chicken curry outside my mom's cooking, big pieces in bone with skin over vermicelli


Laperau @ Manufacture, Paris
I see more rabbit in my future


Spoonful of Happiness @ Koo, San Francisco
Ankimo wrapped in whitefish (left); uni, tobiko and quail egg (right)


Grilled Chicken Thigh @ Two, San Francisco
Never has grilled chicken been this tender
