A very solid year and I've become pretty jaded/impatient which means somethin. The best movie of the year was the Departed, which I actually rewatched yesterday (that makes three viewings). It's that good  Blood Diamond is not far behind Maybe a more interesting list would be good flicks that were not that popular  - Accepted - ATL - Little Children - Lucky Number Slevin - Match Point - Prestige - Step Up, yea really - Stranger Than Fiction - V For Vendetta - Thank You For Smoking These I watched this year and came out before 06 - Brick - Sympathy for Lady Vengeance The rest below Excellent - Blood Diamond - Cars - Departed - MI:3 - Over The Hedge - Pursuit of Happyness Very good - Babel - Bobby - Break Up - Children Of Men - Click - Da Vinci Code - Devil Wears Prada - Ice Age 2 - Inside Man - Lucky Number Slevin - Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - Superman Returns - United 93 - World Trade Center Undue hype - Happy Feet - Inconvenient Truth - Little Miss Sunshine - Miami Vice - X-Men: The Last Stand Don't even bother (you probably didn't, these are the worst movies of the year) - American Dreamz - Crank - Freedomland - Snakes on a plane - Waist Deep Finally check out the worst of 2006 @ CHUD.com and more from del.icio.us Update - Crank sucked, so did Snakes' - Blood Diamond was great - Pursuit of Happyness was great - Children of Men was pretty interesting - Babel was pretty good - Loved Stranger Than Fiction - Lilgee rec'd Bobby Links - /reviews/movie/year/2006/byrating - blog post 12/23/2005 - 2005 in movies - http://del.icio.us/kewlio/movie+2006
Comments Haha yeah...I like your picks. I watched the original Lady Vengeance and I can totally see how Kill Bill came about =D But ya....this year was pretty much all about The Departed!
