Tony Robbins is a motivational speaker so famous he was once featured in a Gen 13 comic book I was reading (how obscure), that was a long time ago. Still that wouldn't be impressive considering he appeared in the 80s on late night paid programming. I listened to him for the first time when he spoke at TED, a super conference where luminaries share their thoughts on life and our future, as the world Anyway, Robbins is a manic speaker, fires all over the place you have to strain to keep up. Mostly the focus is on life why people do what they do, the careful balance of certainty, surprise and contributing to achieve fulfillment. Here's a podcast of his speech, it's a really good 20 minutes powered by ODEO There's a ton of other good speakers (Gladwell, Dan Gilbert, David Pogue, Steven Levitt, the list goes on) that you can check out on Odeo or the official site This is a picture from TED ![]() Here's a funny one, more on FlickrLinks - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_robbins - http://www.ted.com
