I read some mixed reviews online of her New York show two days ago so expectations were low. While in line a fan was telling me how she kinda sucks live so that was that. The line was ridiculous actually, I showed up around 8:15p and it was wrapped around out to Townsend, which was the longest I've ever seen it (longer than for The Killers)

Good thing it wasn't cold, the people in line were cool. Finally got in and Mark Ronson the dj was spinning, he was ok. Lily Allen later big upped him for producing "Littlest Things". She didn't come out till 10:40p, looked a lot better in person than some of the recent pics I've seen, the dress was nicer maybe. She was pretty comfortable I thought, none of that awkwardness I read about, she really warmed up to the crowd which she said was a lot nicer than NYC (nice). The idea of a horn section (three dudes) was nifty but didn't sound all that spectacular. There was also a bassist and a keyboard guy (please add a live drummer)

She told us about about some toothache and how drinking water hurt, and demonstrated that later, painful. Still I thought she sounded good, in fact really great. The audience was ok, the set was short as advertised and was the same as the east coast show

No complaints, or maybe a slight one, I still love "Friend Of Mine" so I wish she played that, she did make me rediscover a few songs. Gonna probably get back into the album, good show ($12)

Here's a pretty video I shot for "LDN", it was over 300 megs (and yet still crappy) so it had to be Google Video

Some pics, complete set
